We enjoyed a visit from Heidi from the Wrexham Library Service who helped us launch our new topic, ‘Stories and Rhymes’.
Heidi brought in some fantastic story sacks and puppets from lots of different Nursery Rhymes such as, ‘Humpty Dumpty’, 🥚 ‘Three Little Ducks’ 🦆🦆🦆 and ‘There was an old lady…’ 👵 We even learned some Welsh rhymes too!
Heidi very kindly left us some traditional stories to enjoy in class 😊

We have started sharing our favourite stories in the Book Nook. Some of us brought in a book from home and some chose a school book. We enjoyed telling our friends about the characters and our favourite parts. Miss Jones told us her favourite story, ‘The Gingerbread Man’. We liked joining in with the repeating parts. We will be doing lots of activities based on this story over the next couple of weeks.
