The children in our school recently had the opportunity to participate in another amazing KAPLA day, where they were able to enhance their Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) skills. Led enthusiastically by Jennifer, children ranging from 3 to 11 years old were actively involved in these workshops, which provided an inclusive learning environment for all.
Despite the complexity of the structures involved, Jennifer ensured that every child was engaged and included throughout the sessions. Each class focused on a specific area, and the children approached the task with remarkable concentration and skill. Together, they worked collaboratively to create awe-inspiring masterpieces that truly showcased their skills.
What made these workshops even more impressive was the fact that the children accomplished their creations solely with KAPLA planks, requiring no glue, clips, or screws. This allowed them to further develop their STEM skills, proving their ability to think critically, problem-solve, and collaborate effectively.
The structures that the children constructed left everyone, including parents and staff, in awe. The KAPLA planks facilitated the exploration of various scientific and mathematical concepts, strengthening the children’s understanding and appreciation of STEM subjects.
The KAPLA workshops demonstrated the effectiveness of hands-on learning experiences in nurturing the holistic development of our children. Through these engaging activities, our children not only improved their STEM skills but also fostered a sense of pride in their achievements.
The KAPLA day was a huge success, allowing our children to delve deeper into their STEM skills and develop their creativity and critical thinking. We are grateful for Jennifer’s guidance and the support of the parents and staff, who helped make this memorable learning experience possible. The smiles on the children’s faces spoke volumes about their accomplishment and the joy they experienced throughout the day.
