We are now following Wrexham’s new Attendance Policy for attendance monitoring. In line with the procedures we will be sending out letters where pupils hit an amount of absence sessions as follows:
Letter 1: 10 sessions missed (5 days)
Letter 2: 16 sessions missed (8 days)
Phone call: 22 sessions (11 days)
Letter 3: 26 sessions missed (13 days)
Meeting with ESW/HT: 26 unauthorised sessions missed (13 days)
Fixed Penalty Notice or Prosecution: if attendance continues to deteriorate
Please note letters will be sent out regardless of authorised or unauthorised, which include holidays.
